Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Dk4Q's Koháu Secret Recipes tool. This website is a fan-made utility built to help the Roblox community look up secret in-game recipe combinations. Because your privacy matters, we built this tool to operate without tracking, selling, or collecting your personal data. This policy details exactly how the site processes data locally on your device and how our integrations handle your security.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be completely transparent, here is what our site does not do:

• No Tracking Analytics: We do not deploy Google Analytics, Meta Pixels, or other third-party user monitoring scripts.
• No Accounts or Registration: You do not need to register to view the recipes. We do not gather names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
• No Search or Filter Logging: Every query you type in the search bar and every filter you apply (such as categories, obtainable status, break room drops, or source tags) is processed entirely locally inside your browser. No search parameters are sent back to our databases.

3. Local Storage (Your Preferences)

To provide a smooth user experience, this utility saves certain operational configurations directly to your browser's "Local Storage". This data is saved strictly on your local device and is never sent to our servers.

We store the following configuration keys locally:

• kohau.notifications.hiddenUntil: Keeps track of when you chose to hide the automatic update notifications popup, suppressing the alert so it does not interrupt you until your chosen quiet period ends (e.g., 10 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day).
• kohau.awardsPopup.hiddenUntil.recipes: Remembers when you dismiss the summer awards dialog pop-up, hiding it for 6 hours.

Please note: Unlike our shift timings board, this recipe board does not require or store any timezone configs (shiftShowEst) or availability parameters (shiftAvailabilityRange).

4. Information Collected Automatically (Server Logs)

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider automatically collects standard server access logs. This data is processed strictly to maintain secure operations, defend against infrastructure abuse (such as DDoS attacks), and guarantee server uptime. This log includes:

• Masked IP addresses
• Browser agents and operating systems
• Timestamp of your visits
• Basic HTTP request paths and referral headers

We do not use this server log data to build digital profiles of you or track individual visitors across the web.

5. Third-Party Services & External Integrations

While we respect your privacy and never track you, our site coordinates with standard external networks to render graphics, load fonts, and handle voluntary funding:

• Our Subdomains & Asset Delivery: To display recipe lists, donor leaderboards, helper directories, and dynamic food graphics, we make request calls to our subdomains (roblox.dk4q.com and cdn.dk4q.com). We also fetch dependencies (such as icons and style code) from trusted open-source networks: Google Fonts and jsDelivr. When your browser queries these services, their routers temporarily register your IP address and user-agent string to serve files quickly. • Donation Support (Ko-fi): We render an optional floating payment chat widget served by Ko-fi to help offset monthly infrastructure costs. When you load the page, the widget script loads directly from Ko-fi's secure servers. If you decide to send a tip, metadata (your specified display name, comment, email, and basic anti-fraud confirmation provided by PayPal/Stripe) is passed securely to Dk4Q's dashboard. • Robux Support (Roblox): Our Robux donation grid links directly to purchase points hosted on Roblox's official catalog. Our site never coordinates Robux transaction processing or reads your Roblox session cookies, account usernames, passwords, or transaction histories. All Robux purchases are governed by the Roblox Privacy Policy.
• External Outbound Links: We link out to external platforms including Discord, Roblox, and Dk4Q's status board. Once you transition away from our domain, you are subject to those external entities' policies. You can view the Discord Privacy Policy.

6. Boards & Your Privacy Rights (Donators & Contributors)

To express our appreciation for those who help keep these utilities running, our site features public recognition boards:

• Contributors Board: Features credit attributions, Roblox/Discord handle references, custom avatars, and summaries of contributions based entirely on details voluntarily provided by helpers.
• Top Donators Board: Lists donor nicknames, contribution platforms (Roblox, Discord, Ko-fi), and relative payment tiers.

We believe you should have complete control over how your community persona is displayed. If you are featured on either of these lists, you have the absolute right to have your display names, custom messages, avatars, platform references, or contribution values changed, anonymized, or completely deleted from our public view at any time. Simply contact us through the methods in Section 10 and we will update or erase your record immediately.

7. Global Privacy Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, & CCPA)

Because we operate as a zero-log site and do not collect, process, or sell Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of our general visitors, provisions like the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA do not have a practical path of execution here. We cannot export or delete your browser data upon request because we do not collect it in the first place.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

As this website is a resource for a Roblox game, we strictly comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect, request, or store personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and suspect your child has submitted any details to us, please notify us immediately so we can inspect our server files and perform a clean purge of any records.

We are committed to true transparency. Below is a log of all modifications made to this policy as our tools have expanded:

• 9 July 2026 (Secret Recipes Policy Release):
  • Reconstructed this document specifically for the Koháu Secret Recipes platform, replacing the Shift Timings layout.
  • Disclosed recipe-specific Local Storage keys: kohau.notifications.hiddenUntil (stores custom notification quiet durations) and kohau.awardsPopup.hiddenUntil.recipes (stores the 6-hour awards popup closed state).
  • Documented our active api endpoints and database subdomains: roblox.dk4q.com (used to fetch recipes.json, contributors.json, donationlist.json, and leaderboards) and cdn.dk4q.com (used to load dynamic recipe imagery).
  • Added explicit coverage in Section 6 clarifying personal data policies, display rules, and absolute modification/removal rights concerning both the "Contributors" and "Top Donators" public boards.
  • Clarified out-of-bounds payment pathways regarding Robux transactions processed on Roblox.
• 24 April 2026: Initial policy publication. Disclosed basic asset delivery processes, standard server security log procedures, and Ko-fi transaction metadata policies.
